Project Pan 15 - 2017

Hello beauties, I wanted to start this a while ago but I just got to it now.  Over the last 5 years I have accumulated so many beauty products. And I had to find a way to get more use out of my products. So many similar posts have been going around Instagram so I decided to give this Project Pan a try. I am going to be working on 15 products not sure for how long I was thinking until I hit pan and then update you beauties on the process.
The way I picked the products were from order as I apply them to my face. I choose a moisturizer, primer, two foundations because one is to light and the other one is to dark.  I am able to blend them together and get one shade. I also picked a setting powder, bronzer, highlight, eyes shadow base, eye shadow palette, blush, mascara, lipliner, lipstick, eyeliner, brow liner and a setting spray.

Starting with the Avocado Rich Cream moisturizer. I picked this product because I really love how soft it makes my face feel however it is more for dry skin. My face gets really oily thru the day and I feel like this product enhances that even more.  Another reason why I picked this particular product is because I paid about $16 - 3.04 fl oz. I wanted to get really good use out of it.
Moving on to primer I decided to pick the Make Up For Ever Matte Primer. I found myself not using primers for a while because lately I haven't had the time to do a full face of makeup and I felt like taking that extra step was taking to much of my time. I got this primer at Sephora for $37 + tax - 1 oz. I think that overall I used it about 5 times.. and let me just say that a little goes a long way.  For mascara I chose the Maybelline lash sensational (waterproof) because I really love this mascara but as you all know there are so many new mascaras in the market and good ones at that. I have a back up for this mascara but I have found another one that I love more and that is why I have chosen to use it up.
Honestly I didn't know what foundations to use up first because I have so many. But I picked these two Lancome and Maybelline.  The Lancome 24H makeup is to light for my skin tone and the Maybelline Super Stay is to dark. I think that if I blend them together they will make my perfect shade. Hoping that they don't break on my skin when mixing them because alone they are great foundations. More over to setting sprays. What can I say, I have in total 3 setting sprays. The reason for this is because my first experience was bad. I had the Mac Fix+ and it broke me out like crazy. My favorite one at the moment is the Morphe setting spray. This Mario Badescu I got at Ulta as a last minute add on to my basket. What got me to buy it was that it contains aloe. But the smell of rose was not for me. The spray is okay but the scent is not my favorite. However it was a very affordable product. And I will continue to use it. Until I finish it.
Setting powders are my favorite step in the makeup process because they bring my face together and its a step that I can not skip. I have so many favorite setting powders however this one (NYC Smooth Skin) is not one of them. What got me to buy it was the hype on youtube and the price $2.99.  It is a great powder and it keeps my makeup in place but it leaves a white cast over my face. I might have to use a light layer for now until its all gone.
Bronzer and highlight is another step that will make your makeup look put together because bronzer gives you a more slimmer and and youthful effect and highlight gives you a radiance and glow from within of corse depending on personal preference.  The Butter Bronzer from Physicians Formula smells amazing I was finding myself not using it enough like I should have. I mean it is a great product and that is why its making into this project. As for the highlight Pur Afterglow is a very settle highlight and to be honest I am not a big fan of highlights because I have a lot of texture on my face. I own a lot of highlights I mean a lot! And I need to get a good use out of them. This particular highlight is a very light shade and I have to blend it otherwise it looks very streaky.  My skin tone is a bit to dark for it.
My all time favorite blush at the moment is the No7 Soft Damson. I own like 4 of them. It is a matte blush and so so easy to blend. I have other blushes also but I feel like I need to use these up more. It wont be hard for me because I really love it. It is easy to blend and it goes great with my skin tone.
I feel like a lot of these products I have backups for and that is one of the reasons this lipstick by Rimmel (Let's get Naked) made it to this project. This was my favorite lipstick at one point because it really compliments my skin tone and it is so comfortable to wear but it is not long lasting and its one of those lipsticks that you have to reapply every 2 hours.  And I never got into the habit of doing that. Moving into eyeshadow primer I had to choose one of the famous Color Tattoos by Eye Studio (Maybelline). They are super long lasting and creaseless. They settle fast but they are so worth it. I own about 10 of them and I picked the most suitable for my eyes. It is another one of those products that need to get used more often.
Limited edition Surf & Sand palette by Bobbi Brown. Such be-au-tiful palette that I touched once and every time I open it I ask myself why it hasn't become a frequent used product for me. I think that its to pretty to be used but if I don't use it will get old and go to waste. I am excited and scared to go thru this product because it is limited edition and I hope I don't fall in love with it because I won't be able to repurchase it.  But I will keep you posted.
Now to the most boring products and my least favorites. Eyebrow liner, liquid liner and lip liner. All these products take up a lot of time in my makeup process. However they must go. I have to start using a lot of my liners not only these. For this project I picked the Jordana Eyebrow pencil in 01 Taupe, NYC High Definition liquid eyeliner and NYX lip liner 860 Peekaboo neutral.
