Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills

I wanted to pull this palette out for review, I bought it on its first release. And the reason to bring it out for review is because of the controversy on the new Sculpture palette. Now I have not received the new Sculpture palette just yet but I thought I would get back to the Modern Renaissance and refresh my memory. And while this palette was very much loved for the shades and pigmentation you can tell how unique the formula is for this palette comparing to any other palette on the market. There is a lot of kick back/ fall out but at the same time very pigmented and easy to blend with the exception of one or two shades. The two shimmer shades are so buttery and pigmented my favorite in the palette. But what I am trying to say is that I have not found a palette that I can claim to be perfect and specially because we are all different and have different opinions what might work for might not for you and vise versa. Regardless this palette has a great color scheme and can I work around the fall out? Yes I can. Do I want to take an extra step like apply under eye shields or apply my foundation last. Why not! The pigmentation is there and thats what I am looking for.

Tarte Make Believe In Yourself Eye & Cheek Palette

Straight to the point here.. I was not very impressed with this palette.. I mean the reason it caught my attention was the uniqueness of the colors and the discounted price. If you really want an even application on these eyeshadows you need to apply a setting mist on the brush or use your finger tip. More over I really don't thinks it is a cheek palette I am more of a medium skin tone and the highlight shade looks very white,  glittery and powdery it would work more for inner corner eye highlight. Some shadows are hit and miss for me because they can be a bit hard to apply.. the pigmentation is there but alone on the eyes it will disappear.  I am not 100% sure if this palette is limited edition but I bought it at a discounted price so I feel like it is. You only get one matte shadow, a very pretty one put not very pigmented. It can be used as a transition shade to blend out the glittery shades. Overall I am enjoying the uniqueness of the colors. Some colors that I don't already own. But you definitely need to pare this palette with another to create a perfect look.

Natasha Denona - Sunset Palette

Hey beauties, just a quick review here, an expensive one. I know you and your mother have heard great things about the new limited edition Natasha Denona Sunset palette which is currently sold out! No surprise here. Natasha Denona is very well known for her talent and her very pigmented expensive eyeshadow palettes among other great makeup. The Sunset palette retails for $129 + tax. Contains 15 very pigmented eyeshadows each 0.08oz/ 2.5g. The name from the palette/shades are inspired from colors of the sunset. I can see all these shades being colors of a sunset. The palette has a lot of fall out I would suggest you tap your brush a bit or being extra careful that is if your foundation is already applied. The quality of the shadows are so rich that I can see why there would be fall out.

In my opinion I am really enjoying all 15 shades and I can't wait to play more with this palette. I feel like this palette was made for me and I see myself wearing all these shades. Neutrals are my comfort zone. With this palette I feel like all the colors are there from transitions to inner corner highlight to a pop on the lid.

HUDA BEAUTY: TEXTURED SHADOWS PALETTE - ROSE GOLD EDITION

Hello my Beauties! Welcome! Today I wanted to jump on the wagon lol. I will be talking about the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Textured palette. I feel like it is one of the most talked about palettes at the moment.  I am honestly really enjoying it. The texture of the shadows are very similar to those of Makeup Geek eyeshadows. They are very pigmented and blendable. I purchased my palette on the Sephora website. At first I tried to buy it from the Huda website but it was SOLD OUT! In my opinion if you already own all of the Makeup Geek shadows you really don't need this palette. The palette cost me $65 + tax and I feel like they could have done better with the packaging. It is very sleek but I wish it was more durable or sturdy I should say. Perhaps adding a mirror and a brush. I know there is a dupe picture on the web showing the colors in comparison. Besides the packaging the range of colors is amazing! These are my go to colors there might be one or two shades that I dislike but I can live with it.
A few of the textured shadows feel very creamy and chunky. For best results I suggest using your finger to apply. The matte shades are very blendable with some fall out but I feel that most pigmented shadows will have fall out. This palette has the perfect crease color the perfect lid and a pitch black to smoke out any look. Very neutral yet so colorful. And of corse lets not forget the inner corner pop shade. Amazing very eye opening beige yellowish tone. Then for my brow bone I mix a little bit of a matte and shimmery shade just to blend out my crease.  I will leave some photos and swatches. Enjoy!
